1. Agreement
By accessing or using StartClear, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What StartClear provides
StartClear is a personal planning and prioritization tool. It can organize information you provide and recommend a next step based on tasks, projects, schedules, corrections, and optional read-only calendar and feed context. Recommendations are aids, not instructions. You remain responsible for your decisions and commitments.
3. Accounts and permissions
You create or access a StartClear account directly with Google; a ChatGPT account is not required. You are responsible for maintaining access to the account used to sign in and for activity performed through your workspace. You may connect only Google accounts, calendars, and public feed URLs you are authorized to use. Google Calendar connection is optional and requires your separate consent.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the tasks, projects, schedules, notes, and other content you submit. You permit StartClear to process that content only as needed to operate, protect, and maintain the service for you. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use StartClear to:
- violate applicable law or another person's rights;
- access another user's account, workspace, or calendar;
- interfere with the service or bypass security controls;
- upload malicious code or use the service to harm others; or
- misrepresent your identity or authority to access data.
6. Google and other third-party services
StartClear relies on third-party services for hosting, authentication, optional Google Calendar access, and publishers of public calendar or feed URLs you choose to add. Their own terms and policies also apply. StartClear is not responsible for a third-party service's availability, changes, or independent handling of information.
7. Availability and changes
StartClear may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, or the product. The service is provided on an "as available" basis and may occasionally be interrupted or contain errors.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
StartClear does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, StartClear is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing recommendations before acting on them.
9. Ending use
You may stop using StartClear at any time. You can disconnect individual Google accounts or remove public calendar and feed subscriptions from Calendar & Settings, revoke Google access from your Google Account, and clear workspace information with Factory reset. Access may be restricted when needed to address misuse, security risk, or legal requirements.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when updates are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
